Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy AI agents and experiences that take actions for enterprise organizations.
- Design prompts, reasoning flows, tool calls, and integrations using agentic AI and LLM techniques.
- Own technical components from architecture selection through deployment, validation, and production observability.
- Build and integrate data pipelines using Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, Databricks, and customer data platforms.
- Model data, validate pipeline output, and maintain agent performance dashboards and customer KPI reporting.
- Develop proofs of concept and MVPs that progress rapidly from design to deployment.
- Co-build solutions with customers and partners while providing enablement and best practices.
- Surface platform gaps, edge cases, and field insights to senior engineers and product teams.
- Partner with Deployment Strategists to translate customer challenges into deployable agentic solutions.
- Experiment with emerging AI tools, models, and frameworks and share learnings with teams and customers.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software engineering or technical delivery experience; Senior-level candidates require 6–10 years.
- At least one production system experience suitable for technical discussion.
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Required prior customer-facing technical delivery experience in consulting, professional services, or forward deployed engineering.
- Fluency in at least one of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs and prompt engineering.
- Deep understanding of data modeling, APIs, and integration patterns.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with sales teams and customer architects.
- Ability to produce quality code and evaluate AI outputs with engineering rigor.
- Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time and work directly with customers.
- Salesforce platform experience or certifications, agent-framework familiarity, cloud data-platform experience, and data engineering or platform architecture experience are preferred.
