Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code principles.
- Architect multi-region, highly available systems leveraging various AWS services.
- Optimize cloud costs while ensuring performance, security, and reliability.
- Implement and maintain container orchestration platforms for microservices.
- Develop automation scripts and tools primarily using TypeScript and Node.js.
- Lead technical design reviews and provide guidance on system architecture.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote DevOps best practices.
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response for SmartHome+ services.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Platform Engineering roles.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience architecting and managing AWS infrastructure.
- Proven track record of designing large-scale distributed systems, preferably in IoT.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js for building infrastructure tools.
- Expert-level experience with CI/CD tools and monitoring/observability tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
