Responsibilities
- Build and maintain reliable integrations between G-P's platform and third-party HRIS systems.
- Design and develop new services using serverless, event-driven microservices architecture.
- Own and enhance components of the public API platform with a focus on REST API design.
- Translate high-level product requirements into defined workstreams and design specifications.
- Collaborate with Product and User-Experience teams to understand requirements.
- Contribute to the evolution of the software development lifecycle and champion engineering best practices.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience developing SaaS enterprise software in distributed teams.
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to thrive in a remote-first environment.
- Strong command of serverless architectures, specifically AWS SAM/Lambda.
- Deep experience with NoSQL databases, particularly DynamoDB.
- Proven experience in designing and maintaining microservices and bounded contexts.
- Demonstrated ability in REST API design and event-driven patterns using AWS technologies.
- Experience with CI/CD practices using GitHub Actions.
- Experience developing full-stack web applications using modern frameworks.
