Responsibilities
- Own high-severity customer issues from signal detection to resolution.
- Lead deep-dive debugging across the full stack to isolate root causes.
- Analyze support signals to identify systemic risks before they escalate.
- Contribute to monitoring and diagnostic capabilities for early issue visibility.
- Manage technical escalations and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Raise the technical proficiency of Customer Support through knowledge sharing.
- Maintain expertise across Cloudflare's product portfolio to anticipate customer impacts.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in site reliability engineering or a similar technical support role.
- Strong foundation in networking and security principles.
- Proficiency with observability and diagnostic tools.
- Strong scripting and automation skills in languages like Bash and Python.
- Experience with incident management and postmortem culture.
- Excellent communication skills for conveying complex technical information.
- Ability to handle ambiguous, cross-layer problems under pressure.
