Responsibilities

  • Own high-severity customer issues from signal detection to resolution.
  • Lead deep-dive debugging across the full stack to isolate root causes.
  • Analyze support signals to identify systemic risks before they escalate.
  • Contribute to monitoring and diagnostic capabilities for early issue visibility.
  • Manage technical escalations and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Raise the technical proficiency of Customer Support through knowledge sharing.
  • Maintain expertise across Cloudflare's product portfolio to anticipate customer impacts.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in site reliability engineering or a similar technical support role.
  • Strong foundation in networking and security principles.
  • Proficiency with observability and diagnostic tools.
  • Strong scripting and automation skills in languages like Bash and Python.
  • Experience with incident management and postmortem culture.
  • Excellent communication skills for conveying complex technical information.
  • Ability to handle ambiguous, cross-layer problems under pressure.
