Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support Workday integrations across HR and enterprise systems.
- Build and maintain integrations between Workday and payroll, benefits, IAM, recruiting, learning, and third-party platforms.
- Gather requirements with HR, Payroll, Security, IT teams, vendors, and other stakeholders and translate them into technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot integration issues, perform root cause analysis, resolve production incidents, and remediate problems.
- Support Workday releases, regulatory changes, system enhancements, and HR business process improvements.
- Maintain technical documentation, testing artifacts, and support procedures.
- Improve integration reliability, monitoring, automation, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and administrators to deliver scalable and secure HR technology solutions.
Requirements
- 7-8 years of relevant experience supporting, developing, and maintaining enterprise integrations.
- Hands-on experience with Workday integration technologies such as Studio, Core Connectors, EIBs, APIs, and Workday Web Services.
- Understanding of Hire-to-Retire processes, worker lifecycle events, payroll, benefits, and compensation data flows.
- Experience integrating Workday or other SaaS applications with payroll providers, benefits vendors, IAM platforms, and third-party service providers.
- Experience supporting production operations, including troubleshooting, incident resolution, root cause analysis, and issue remediation.
- Working knowledge of XML, JSON, REST, SOAP, and file-based integrations.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and collaborate with business and technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in a cross-functional enterprise environment.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
- Preferred qualifications include Workday HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, Learning, Time Tracking, or Absence integration experience; global or multi-country HRIS experience; HR data privacy, security, and audit knowledge; Workday Integration Certification or willingness to obtain it; SaaS vendor and external integration partner experience; and enterprise HR technology project experience.
- Master Certified Technical Specialist is also listed as preferred.
