Responsibilities
- Identify high-leverage AI opportunities across business functions and manage the project from scoping to handoff.
- Resolve AI-specific systems gaps and implement solutions faster than the organization can.
- Research emerging AI capabilities and translate findings into actionable insights for the team.
- Develop AI-powered tools and pipelines using advanced models and frameworks.
- Design evaluation frameworks to assess the performance and utility of AI systems.
- Instrument AI systems for observability and performance monitoring.
- Navigate cross-functional ownership dynamics to ensure project alignment and success.
- Represent AI Frontiers in discussions with stakeholders and executive reviews.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Depth in full-stack or backend engineering with experience in production systems.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with LLMs and AI tooling in production.
- Experience in designing and running evaluation frameworks for AI systems.
- Familiarity with LLM observability tools like LangSmith or Datadog.
- Proven track record of collaborating with non-engineering stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work with ambiguity and self-scope projects.
- Practical machine learning experience is a plus.
