Responsibilities
- Write clean, efficient, and testable frontend and backend code while owning features and services from design through deployment.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and QA colleagues to refine requirements, scope technical solutions, and deliver software.
- Write unit and integration tests and contribute to reliable CI/CD processes and regression safety.
- Deploy and operate software in AWS using Terraform, Kubernetes, and GitHub Actions.
- Participate in code reviews, retrospectives, feedback sessions, and development workflow improvements.
- Maintain the health, performance, and maintainability of shipped code.
- Use AI-powered tooling and automation to improve development workflows.
- Mentor and teach less experienced engineers.
- Develop collaboratively in an Agile environment using Git, Jira, and Confluence.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software development experience with a strong focus on TypeScript, Node.js, React, and JavaScript fundamentals.
- Experience with basic cloud development on AWS and Azure, CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, and tools such as Terraform.
- Familiarity with unit testing, automated testing, test coverage, maintainability, and regression safety.
- Ability to solve engineering problems, break down tasks, ask questions, and work through ambiguity.
- Ability to work as a self-driven, collaborative engineer who takes end-to-end ownership.
- Strong analytical, investigative, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn, contribute to continuous improvement, and mentor less experienced engineers.
