Responsibilities
- Execute manual test plans, test scripts, automated testing activities, test reports, and Quality Engineering deliverables.
- Support test automation frameworks for web and OTA applications.
- Execute Quality Plans and Verification & Validation testing activities.
- Lead or support User Acceptance Testing, root-cause investigations, and resolution activities.
- Support product risk management, design verification and validation, audits, and regulatory documentation.
- Review system and software requirements, software and firmware designs, code inspections, test protocols, and test results.
- Create testing schedules and work plans and ensure timely completion of assigned deliverables.
- Maintain Design History File content integrity and improve software quality processes and testing tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- At least 5 years of experience authoring and executing software test cases and validation activities.
- Experience leading User Acceptance Testing and creating test plans, test scripts, and test documentation.
- Knowledge of Design Controls, Verification & Validation processes, and software development practices.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Advanced written and verbal English proficiency.
- Preferred qualifications include 1–2 years in the medical device industry, regulated environments, quality management systems, test automation frameworks, software development lifecycle practices, static testing, Test-Driven Development, Design History Files, and regulatory compliance.
