Responsibilities
- Build cloud-scale products focused on efficiency, reliability, and security.
- Build and maintain end-to-end build, test, and deployment pipelines.
- Contribute to product architecture and design.
- Triage service issues, restore service with minimal disruption, and perform root-cause analysis, trend analysis, and post-mortems.
- Own components end to end, including requirements gathering, development, testing, deployment, and post-deployment quality and availability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field plus 4+ years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree plus 4+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience.
- Experience designing, building, and operating large-scale distributed cloud services with emphasis on reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Strong operational discipline, including managing live-site health and responding to service incidents.
- Ability to work effectively with software engineers, program managers, security experts, and other multidisciplinary team members.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
