Responsibilities
- Define and evolve end-to-end customer and workforce IAM solution architectures and designs.
- Present architectures to stakeholders and obtain approval through the architecture review board.
- Evaluate solution alternatives against business strategy, requirements, constraints, and target-state architecture.
- Lead delivery teams through phased solution delivery while managing timelines, budget, quality, and production releases.
- Author reusable IAM architecture patterns for use across RBC and its subsidiaries.
- Evaluate third-party IAM technologies, tools, and products.
- Partner with business, functional, risk, governance, cloud, integration, data, security, infrastructure, and engineering teams.
- Support RBC architecture governance and provide technical leadership to delivery teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, mathematics, or engineering, or another BA/BS degree with a concentration in computer science or information systems.
- 7+ years of IT experience, including 3–5 years of solution architecture experience on large projects.
- Proven experience defining and evolving architectures for solutions with large user bases from project initiation through implementation and support.
- Strong technical leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Extensive knowledge of IAM capabilities including authentication, authorization, user and credential management, role management, access certification, RBAC, ABAC, and privileged access management.
- Experience designing reusable enterprise security services across varied requirements and use cases.
- Experience solutioning across on-premises, off-premises, mainframe, web, mobile, multi-cloud, SaaS, call centre, and public-client environments.
- Preferred experience with Zachman, TOGAF, ArchiMate, object-oriented design, top-down design, structured analysis, component-based design, PlantUML, Archi, and Modelio.
- Preferred extensive experience with Microsoft Entra ID, PAM, PIM, CyberArk, SailPoint, and other IAM products and technologies.
