Responsibilities
- Design and develop services and applications that enable Solera products and solutions.
- Lead the design, development, delivery, and technical direction of scalable cloud-native web applications.
- Diagnose and address performance, scale, and cross-platform stability issues.
- Partner with front-end, data, product, QA, operations, and other technical leads on design, testing, release planning, and coordination.
- Mentor engineers on technologies, architecture patterns, and software development best practices.
- Lead design reviews and code reviews for components and systems.
- Prototype and champion new technologies for the platform.
- Represent technical capabilities and strategies to internal teams, external partners, and customers.
- Support platform transitions and solve challenges in complex legacy software stacks.
- Design and implement backend services, microservices, APIs, and GenAI-powered applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 12+ years of software development and technical leadership experience.
- 10+ years of experience with Node.js, C# applications, and microservice technologies.
- At least 3 years of experience interfacing with SQL and NoSQL data access layers.
- Expertise in modern software development practices across multiple languages and environments.
- Hands-on GenAI experience within the last 1–3 years, including LLM integration, prompt engineering, RAG, MCP, agentic AI, orchestration frameworks, and inference optimization.
- Strong experience with microservices architecture patterns and cloud-native application development.
- Strong API design experience and the ability to collaborate with front-end, data engineering, quality, and operations teams.
- Broad full-stack experience across front-end, services, and data layers.
- Experience designing, planning, and implementing backend services, microservices, and APIs.
- Experience with Git, Jenkins, NPM, Spinnaker, and build, test, and profiling automation.
- Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and Nginx or Apache.
- Experience designing frameworks used by other developers.
- Experience building GenAI-powered applications with foundation models, RAG pipelines, and agent-based architectures.
- Ability to lead agile teams and learn new technologies.
