Responsibilities
- Upgrade legacy .NET Framework Windows Services, Console Apps, and Web Forms applications to .NET 8.
- Modernize user interfaces using Blazor and Angular.
- Refactor and optimize codebases for maintainability and scalability.
- Collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment strategies across Azure, AWS, and GCP.
- Integrate databases using ADO.NET and Dapper.
- Mentor junior developers during modernization projects.
- Drive architectural discussions involving microservices, API-first design, distributed systems, and modern security practices.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of professional .NET development experience.
- Strong expertise with .NET Framework 4.x and .NET 8.
- Hands-on experience with Windows Services, Console Apps, and Web Forms.
- Proven experience with Blazor Server or WebAssembly and Angular 2+.
- Proficiency with ADO.NET and micro-ORMs such as Dapper.
- Strong experience with application containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with SQL Server or equivalent relational databases.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
