Responsibilities
- Implement scalable Salesforce DevOps solutions covering continuous delivery, optimization, monitoring, release management, and end-to-end release support.
- Set up, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce applications in Azure DevOps.
- Create SFDX projects, automated releases, branching strategies, package deployments, and back-sync processes across Salesforce orgs.
- Manage Salesforce environment provisioning, sandbox administration, data deployments, metadata and data backup/recovery, and security and performance monitoring.
- Coordinate production releases, rollbacks, restorations, and the movement of Salesforce updates from development through staging to production.
- Automate recurring activities, document release issues, and develop long-term process and automation improvements.
- Integrate code scanning tools into environment pipelines and handle client conversations and cross-department collaboration.
Requirements
- At least 9 years of IT experience with Salesforce DevOps implementation using Azure DevOps.
- At least 7 years of experience in release and deployment processes using Azure DevOps.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce.com, Git, ANT, Azure DevOps, package.xml, Salesforce Metadata APIs, and YAML pipeline scripting.
- Experience building Azure DevOps pipelines and automating Salesforce deployments.
- Understanding of Salesforce Apex classes, triggers, custom metadata, metadata packaging, and managed and unmanaged package deployments.
- Copado knowledge is preferred.
- Ability to integrate code scanning tools into environment pipelines and communicate effectively with clients and teams.
