Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build, own, and operate automated platforms and solutions for AWS deployments in dedicated regions.
- Collaborate closely with AWS service teams on complex deployment engineering problems.
- Provide automation and scripting support and innovate to automate operational tasks.
- Investigate customer issues, analyze abnormal metrics, and identify root causes.
- Contribute to systems architecture and design, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Communicate with users, technical teams, and management to gather requirements and explain software features and technical designs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or five years of software development experience in lieu of a degree.
- At least one year of experience contributing to new and existing systems architecture and design, including reliability and scaling.
- At least two years of non-internship professional software development experience with Java, C#, Python, or another programming language.
- Preferred: master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
- Preferred: five or more years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- Preferred: experience with large-scale data processing systems or distributed systems.
- Preferred: knowledge of professional software engineering practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Must be a US Citizen and obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
