Base Salary
$246k - $339k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the organization-wide Developer Experience strategy with engineering leadership.
- Align Core DX and Cloud/Platform DX efforts into a cohesive end-to-end developer experience.
- Identify and drive improvements across the developer journey while avoiding fragmented local optimization.
- Establish and standardize developer productivity metrics and engineering insights.
- Guide internal developer platform evolution and self-service capabilities across teams.
- Improve the consistency, reliability, speed, and predictability of CI/CD systems.
- Lead adoption of AI-enabled SDLC practices with safe experimentation, standards, and guardrails.
- Partner with engineering, SRE, and platform teams to influence direction without direct ownership.
- Act as a technical leader and mentor for Developer Experience strategy and execution.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in Developer Experience, Platform Engineering, and large-scale engineering systems.
- Strong software engineering background with deep systems and operational thinking.
- Proven ability to define and drive cross-organizational technical strategy across platform, cloud, CI/CD, and developer tooling domains.
- Experience with internal developer platforms, self-service ecosystems, developer productivity metrics, and engineering insights such as DORA and DX.
- Experience improving CI/CD systems for reliability, speed, and predictability at scale.
- Ability to align teams and stakeholders without direct authority and balance local needs with global optimization.
- Recent experience driving or adopting AI-enabled development workflows across the SDLC.
- Experience with cloud-native architectures and Kubernetes-based platforms.
- Familiarity with progressive delivery, including feature flags and canary releases.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills across engineering and leadership levels.
- Frontend platform or microfrontend architecture experience is a nice-to-have.
- EST or UK timezone availability is a nice-to-have.
