Responsibilities
- Take end-to-end ownership of backend services and APIs, from design to deployment.
- Build and integrate local payment methods and affordability features.
- Analyze metrics to drive actionable engineering improvements.
- Collaborate with Finance and Product to align technical execution with business strategy.
- Monitor product health and identify areas for system reliability improvement.
- Foster a collaborative engineering culture through knowledge sharing and mentoring.
Requirements
- 3 to 6 years of software engineering experience in big tech companies.
- Proficiency in backend development, primarily in Java.
- B.Tech/BE in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent technical qualification.
- Experience with payment networks and checkout funnels is a plus.
- Strong ability to navigate ambiguity and design scalable solutions.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical partners.
