Base Salary
$200k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect new mobile products and define compelling user experiences for iOS.
- Lead key components of the mobile application as the company expands into new product areas.
- Write clean, readable, reusable code for app designs, features, components, and integrations.
- Improve development practices, design patterns, deployment processes, and customer experience.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, engineers, marketing, and other stakeholders on product and business initiatives.
- Contribute throughout the development lifecycle, including code reviews, planning, stand-ups, and product or technology demos.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends for potential product improvements.
- Mentor and develop other engineers on the team.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional mobile development experience.
- Proficiency in Swift, including Swift 6.
- Deep understanding of mobile app UX best practices.
- Experience leading large-scale projects and partnering with product, marketing, and engineering teams in a highly iterative environment.
- Ability to propose, refine, implement, and update UX and product solutions based on customer needs.
- Proficiency translating design mocks, including Figma files, into iOS applications using Swift.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience with personal finance management products is preferred.
- Understanding of UX design concepts and design creation languages, systems, principles, and processes is preferred.
- Comfort with Figma, Invision, Origami, or Sketch is preferred.
- Familiarity with maintaining a style guide, SwiftUI, and brand is preferred.
- Familiarity with consumer credit risk and the customer life cycle is preferred.
