Base Salary
$82k - $92k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with development staff, contract and offshore engineers, and business product owners in an agile environment.
- Perform design, analysis, and general architectural design for end-to-end application solutions.
- Develop, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance Python applications, automation solutions, APIs, ETL processes, and operational support tools.
- Use third-party frameworks, open-source libraries, APIs, and cloud technologies to develop application solutions.
- Code, test, implement, and document solutions using Python, .NET, web, cloud, and data integration technologies.
- Support production operations through root cause analysis, defect remediation, data validation, automation, and continuous improvement.
- Learn and apply new technologies to support the environment and contribute to project deliverables.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, mathematics, engineering, or another technical field, or equivalent education and experience.
- At least one year of professional software development experience using Python, .NET/C#, or comparable object-oriented programming languages.
- At least one year of experience and proficiency in database design techniques, including relational, document, star schema, or Kimball Model approaches.
- Knowledge of Python, .NET/C#, Java, software development frameworks, and object-oriented development.
- Understanding of NoSQL databases, AWS cloud services, build and deployment tools, distributed computing, integration and service frameworks, containers, and CI/CD tools.
- Experience with scripting, automation, and operational support using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar technologies.
- Preferred experience developing Python-based data processing, automation, integration, or ETL solutions; using AWS Lambda, Glue, S3, IAM, or CloudWatch; supporting production systems; troubleshooting enterprise data issues; and performing root cause analysis.
- Preferred understanding of real-time data processing, data mappings, ETL, serverless application development, and the financial services industry.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, technical communication, teamwork, prioritization, customer-focus, and attention-to-detail skills.
