Base Salary
$75k - $80k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and sustain satellite command and control, mission planning, mission data processing, and data analysis software using Elixir.
- Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews.
- Collaborate with engineers across disciplines to develop software systems.
Requirements
- 0 to 2 years of software development experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a similar discipline, or relevant experience.
- Exposure to modern functional programming paradigms, especially Elixir and/or Erlang.
- Interest in resilient and fault-tolerant architectures, distributed systems, concurrency, and debugging live systems.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, eagerness to develop leadership ability, and aptitude for cross-disciplinary work.
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a DoD Secret or TS/SCI clearance.
- Preferred: familiarity with Elixir and OTP, including GenServer, Registry, Tasks, Phoenix.PubSub, and Broadway.
- Preferred: relational database experience with PostgreSQL or similar, distributed-system monitoring and tracing experience, and real-time application experience.
