Responsibilities
- Collaborate with account teams to support cloud opportunities, Linode service adoption, and lasting customer success.
- Analyze application components and design scalable, efficient cloud solutions using modern cloud technologies.
- Facilitate the design and implementation of Akamai Compute Solutions, service-oriented architectures, APIs, and web services.
- Guide customers through strategic and technical aspects of cloud transformations with an implementation focus.
- Provide technical thought leadership in cloud computing and Linode services to support Akamai's business growth strategies.
- Partner with cloud compute, security, delivery, channel partner, systems integrator, third-party developer, and internal teams.
Requirements
- Have 6–10 years of experience with cloud-based applications, architecture, implementation, and strategy within large-scale systems.
- Have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Demonstrate expertise in technical roles at cloud software organizations or public cloud environments with customer-focused responsibilities.
- Have expertise architecting complex IaaS solutions and relevant AWS, GCP, or Azure certifications.
- Have experience with IaaS, containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, Kafka, Redis, and the ELK stack.
- Ability to align IT investments and services with organizational and business strategies and evaluate their effectiveness.
- Strong collaboration, written, verbal, and presentation skills for communicating technical content to varied audiences.
