Responsibilities
- Drive and evolve CI/CD infrastructure for TimescaleDB, Toolkit, Data Tiering, and Tiger Lake using GitHub Actions.
- Own and automate the end-to-end release process.
- Lead packaging and collaborate with the platform team on efficient release workflows.
- Design, implement, and execute stress-testing infrastructure and analyze regression results.
- Build and maintain testing infrastructure for TimescaleDB performance and cloud compatibility.
- Own and enhance benchmarking frameworks such as tsbench, including advanced features such as explain plans.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Release Engineer, QA Lead, or similar role with end-to-end release process ownership.
- Deep expertise in modern CI/CD practices and tools, especially GitHub Actions.
- Strong Python skills for automation, tooling, and infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience running PostgreSQL in production environments.
- Prior TimescaleDB experience is preferred.
- Basic Kubernetes knowledge is preferred.
