Base Salary
$62k - $141k/yr
Responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot legacy enterprise applications in a software sustainment environment.
- Make minor application changes, fix bugs, and continuously enhance and upgrade systems.
- Use programming and scripting languages to support application operations and maintenance.
- Design and debug applications, workflows, web parts, site maintenance functions, and APIs.
- Create and test modules, components, and interfaces between software products and vendor products.
- Develop program specifications and documentation, participate in design and code reviews, and address review findings.
- Help clients improve, secure, and modernize existing systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience maintaining existing applications, making minor changes, or supporting systems in sustainment mode.
- At least 3 years of experience with legacy enterprise systems.
- Experience with basic programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks.
- Experience working in microservices or distributed application environments.
- Experience designing and debugging applications and working with workflows, web parts, site maintenance, and APIs.
- Ability to create solutions in a collaborative, cross-functional team.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance; existing Secret clearance is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of software development experience in lieu of a degree.
- Preferred experience with Java, Python, C#, C/C++, .NET, JavaScript, React, Angular, NodeJS, PHP, Bash, Visual Basic, Groovy, or Lua.
- Preferred experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Preferred experience with Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft products, Microsoft Windows Server, or Microsoft SQL Server.
- Preferred knowledge of shell scripting, automation, source control systems such as Git, relational and hierarchical data structures, functional programming, and Agile environments.
