Responsibilities
- Lead major research and development projects focused on model performance.
- Tackle ambiguous technical problems related to model behaviour and safety.
- Build fine-tuned LLMs using the latest tools and frameworks.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to automate prompt engineering.
- Develop novel fine-tuning or data generation techniques for healthcare.
- Mentor mid-level and junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation.
Requirements
- Proven track record of leading R&D projects that improve large-scale AI models.
- Hands-on experience building scalable AI products or features.
- Experience shipping AI and LLM-powered features in production.
- Expertise in Python and deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Strong foundation in mathematics and statistics with intuition for AI/ML.
- Ability to translate product needs into research questions and experiments.
- PhD in Computer Science, AI, Statistics, or related field preferred.
