Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of customer business drivers and decision-making criteria.
- Connect Everpure and ecosystem technology solutions to measurable customer outcomes.
- Partner with account managers, specialists, channel partners, and technical teams to drive revenue and new business.
- Provide technical leadership and domain expertise in storage products, distributed storage architectures, file systems, and competitive storage offerings.
- Lead evaluations, benchmarks, system configurations, interoperability testing, and performance validation.
- Create and deliver technical product and architecture presentations to customers and prospects.
- Capture customer requirements and translate them into innovative solutions.
- Contribute to or lead RFP, RFQ, and RFI responses.
- Support product marketing, alliance planning, roadmap exchanges, and competitive solution positioning.
Requirements
- Pre-sales experience is required.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience across technology, design, and communications is required.
- Experience supporting sales of enterprise storage, networking, systems, cloud, or software to enterprise accounts is preferred.
- Deep understanding of multi-tiered client/server and web-based computing architectures is required.
- Knowledge of storage architectures including FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, and SAN is required.
- Experience with Linux, NFS file systems, distributed network environments, and distributed computing or storage subsystem architectures is required.
- Knowledge of cloud-native architecture, on-premises and public cloud environments, provisioning automation, and containers is required.
- Knowledge of VMware, local area networking, Ethernet, TCP/IP, and general networking is required.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, and microservices architectures is preferred.
- Familiarity with storage-intensive applications and structured databases such as SQL and Oracle is highly desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills are required.
