Responsibilities
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve customer and internal issues through root-cause analysis and effective solutions.
- Design and implement backend services, UI applications, third-party integrations, and REST services using Java, Spring, Go, frontend technologies, and scripting.
- Own integrations with third-party products and external systems, including API changes, failures, and version upgrades.
- Deliver complete solutions including production code, unit and integration tests, design documentation, performance analysis, and support artifacts.
- Participate in code reviews and make low-level design decisions considering performance, security, scalability, and maintainability.
- Perform shell scripting and PowerShell automation on Linux and Windows.
- Work with Docker and containerized applications, including deployment, monitoring, and production troubleshooting.
- Analyze logs, metrics, and alerts and participate in incident analysis and remediation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent is strongly recommended.
- 3–6+ years of relevant corporate or commercial software development experience.
- Java and Go development experience, including Java with Maven and Spring and relevant Go toolchains, is required or strongly preferred.
- Experience designing and consuming REST APIs, working with microservices architectures, and integrating external systems.
- Professional software development experience with source control, bug tracking systems, testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong working knowledge of Linux environments.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Understanding of authentication, authorization, practical cryptography, and Public Key Infrastructure.
- Experience with third-party products, services, and APIs, and working knowledge of Docker and containerized applications.
- Frontend experience with Angular, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS and scripting experience with Bash or PowerShell are preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, ownership, collaboration, communication, and independent decision-making skills.
