Responsibilities
- Elicit requirements and define application architectures and designs across the software development lifecycle.
- Create high-quality technical design artifacts and assess technical feasibility for client requirements.
- Develop and maintain SAP S/4HANA ABAP reports, interfaces, workflows, enhancements, forms, custom objects, and RAP-based services.
- Implement and support integrations using AIF, REST APIs, SOAP APIs, OData, IDocs, RFC, and related service provider and consumer patterns.
- Perform ABAP runtime analysis, SQL tracing, system dump analysis, performance tuning, troubleshooting, problem resolution, and capacity planning.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and onshore and offshore delivery teams.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience and strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA ABAP with recent releases.
- Experience with Eclipse, ADLC, Workflows, AMDP, CDS, BRF+, BOPF, RAP, AIF, APIs, forms, and in-app extensibility.
- Experience creating interfaces and reports, AIF monitoring, service providers and consumers, SRT_UTIL monitoring, inbound and outbound IDocs, IDoc extensions, and DRF.
- Extensive ABAP/4 experience with ALV, Interactive and Classical Reports, OSS Notes, Smart Forms, Menu Painter, User Exits, BADIs, RFC, Dialog Programming, and the Data Dictionary.
- Expertise in ABAP/4 planning, design, development, implementation, and testing for scripts, custom reports, user enhancements, dialog programming, Z-tables, and match codes.
- Experience supporting customization of Fiori Apps.
- Experience using SE30, ST05, and ST22 for performance analysis and troubleshooting.
- Experience in the life sciences or pharmaceutical domain is preferred.
- Multilingual proficiency is preferred; English proficiency is required.
- Strong analytical, communication, customer-orientation, quality-awareness, initiative, and flexibility skills.
