
Full-Stack Robotics Software Engineer

Base Salary
$180k - $270k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of the robot software stack, including control, sensing, and remote teleoperation.
- Lead bringup, calibration, and integration of LiDAR, depth, IMU, and actuators while diagnosing hardware-software issues.
- Architect backend services and APIs for large-scale data collection and build monitoring, logging, and model-evaluation tools.
- Develop tools for processing and visualizing geometric data, 3D rotations, and moving reference frames.
- Collaborate with AI, Controls, and Hardware teams to move research capabilities into deployed robotic systems.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience building reliable production software, with an emphasis on Python and C++.
- Strong mathematical foundations in 3D geometry, rigid-body transforms such as SO(3)/SE(3), and kinematics.
- Experience building backend services and APIs as well as low-level software interfacing with hardware SDKs or embedded systems.
- Ability to debug system-level issues across network layers, drivers, and geometric logic.
- At least 2 years working with physical robot hardware is preferred.
- Experience building independent robotics systems, familiarity with computer graphics or 3D visualization frameworks, and experience with imitation learning or robot learning pipelines are preferred.
