Responsibilities
- Design, code, enhance, and deliver custom software solutions using the Pega Platform.
- Design application architecture, process flows, SLAs, skill-based routing, class structures, data models, indexing, reporting, security, and reusable components.
- Integrate applications with databases and external systems using SOAP/REST services, JMS, and MQ.
- Lead successful software releases, coordinate deployment activities, and manage project-level metrics.
- Apply code reviews, guardrail compliance, and AES practices to maintain code quality.
- Manage the reporting team efficiently and handle client calls independently.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience is required; the posting also states a minimum of six years of overall hands-on experience.
- Strong experience with the Pega Platform, Pega application development, system integration, Pega frameworks, ruleset hierarchy, environments, and deployment activities.
- Hands-on experience with HTML, JavaScript, and PL/SQL programming.
- Experience with database and external-system integration through SOAP/REST services, JMS, and MQ.
- Mandatory CSA and CSSA certifications; CUIS, CCSA, and CPMC certifications are optional.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Experience with Python development, prompt engineering, and knowledge of agentic AI systems and tool use involving Anthropic, AWS, or Google.
- React.js and Node.js experience is good to have.
- Good communication skills, client-facing ability, team-management capability, and ability to handle pressure situations.
