Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deploy, operate, and evolve complex enterprise products, platforms, services, and intelligent agents across Azure, Dynamics 365, and Microsoft 365.
- Translate business and technical requirements into scalable, reliable, secure, maintainable, performant, and cost-effective solution designs.
- Provide technical leadership for features and solution areas, including architecture direction, design decisions, code reviews, and reusable engineering patterns.
- Apply AI-native, agentic, automated, and AI-assisted software engineering practices across development, testing, deployment, operations, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with product management, engineering teams, service owners, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver customer and business outcomes.
- Improve reliability, observability, scalability, performance, resiliency, operational excellence, and engineering quality through telemetry, monitoring, testing, and automation.
- Investigate and resolve complex production incidents, performance bottlenecks, reliability issues, and recurring operational problems.
- Use customer feedback, telemetry, operational metrics, and engineering data to guide technical decisions and product improvements.
- Champion secure, privacy-aware, accessible, compliant, and maintainable engineering practices.
- Mentor engineers and influence technical outcomes across teams while identifying modernization, reuse, platform leverage, cost optimization, and process improvement opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 9+ years of professional software engineering experience designing, building, deploying, and operating enterprise applications, platforms, or services.
- 5+ years of experience building and operating cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure, Dynamics 365, or Microsoft 365.
- Software development experience using C#, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or equivalent programming languages.
- Experience designing and delivering secure, scalable, reliable, and maintainable enterprise software solutions.
- Experience with modern software engineering practices, SDLC platforms, engineering toolchains, DevOps, DevSecOps, open source or InnerSource, and AI-assisted engineering.
- Experience designing intelligent, context-aware applications using LLMs or SLMs, agent frameworks, RAG, MCP, or related agentic technologies.
- Ability to develop and review technical specifications, architecture diagrams, solution designs, data models, and infrastructure blueprints.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex production issues and improve highly available, observable, reliable, and secure services.
- Preferred experience providing technical leadership, influencing architecture decisions, improving engineering quality and reliability, and applying agentic software engineering, DevSecOps, platform engineering, and modern SDLC practices.
- Microsoft certifications such as AZ-204, AZ-400, AI-102, or equivalent Azure and AI certifications are preferred.
