Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, manage, and execute proactive and reactive maintenance activities requiring higher-level support.
  • Support change-introduction impact analysis and execute standard configuration changes and application upgrades using SOPs and MOPs.
  • Investigate, debug, and reproduce issues; provide fixes and workarounds; and verify changes to maintain software operability.
  • Contribute to customer SLA and KPI attainment.
  • Handle incident calls and bridges, providing stakeholders with progress, analysis, and resolution updates.
  • Participate in the shift roster to cover operational needs.
  • Perform patching, upgrades, troubleshooting, and maintenance throughout the software lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Degree in Software Engineering or a similar field.
  • 8–10 years of relevant experience.
  • Solid Linux/Unix knowledge and scripting experience with technologies such as Shell, Python, or Ansible.
  • Experience with container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
  • Ability to perform application configuration changes and regular upgrades using SOPs and MOPs.
  • Knowledge of Grafana and Elasticsearch is a merit.
  • Oracle database experience is a merit.
  • Mobile commerce, online banking, or financial-sector IT experience is a merit.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and service operations such as problem, event, and incident management is a merit.
  • Background in service transition, including change and knowledge management.
  • Fluent spoken and written English, strong communication and active listening skills, adaptability, collaborative teamwork, and problem-solving ability.
