Responsibilities
- Learn the Synapse Select product line, including on-premise and cloud deployment methods and architectures.
- Create and execute manual software test cases for verification and validation protocols.
- Perform exploratory functional testing, development-ticket testing, and regression testing.
- Reproduce, document, and report product defects and bugs in JIRA.
- Document test results clearly and collaborate with Software and Template Engineering on technical questions.
- Participate in development-ticket grooming with contractor QA teams and review new automated test cases with the automated testing team.
- Create and design forms required by the Medical Informatics Design Control Process.
- Assist with service manuals and product documentation for Synapse Select.
- Provide technical support to Operations and Support teams.
- Comply with applicable U.S. FDA, ISO 13485, and other medical-device regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a scientific or technical discipline.
- 0 to 2 years of experience in software development, software QA, or a related field.
- Practical experience or knowledge of software development, software testing, or software QA.
- Basic knowledge of software medical devices, related procedures and terminology, DICOM, and HL7.
- Basic knowledge of Agile software development and software design controls.
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, and Access or equivalent software.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with attention to detail, problem-solving ability, multitasking ability, and strong organization.
