Responsibilities
- Understand client business use cases and technical requirements and translate them into technical designs.
- Map technical decisions to requirements and communicate designs to developers.
- Evaluate alternative solutions and select options that best meet client requirements.
- Define guidelines and benchmarks for non-functional requirements during implementation.
- Write and review architecture, framework, and high-level application design documents.
- Review architectures and designs for extensibility, scalability, security, design patterns, user experience, and non-functional requirements.
- Develop and design end-to-end solutions and define the technologies, patterns, and frameworks needed to implement them.
- Apply technology integration knowledge to project solutions.
- Resolve code and design review issues through systematic root-cause analysis.
- Conduct proofs-of-concept to validate proposed designs and technologies.
Requirements
- 8+ years of total experience.
- Deep understanding of LLMs, including GPTs, Llama, Claude, Gemini, Qwen, Mistral, BERT-family models, and Transformer architectures.
- Expert prompt engineering skills and proven experience implementing RAG patterns and architectures.
- High proficiency in Python and AI/ML libraries including LangChain, LlamaIndex, LangGraph, LangSmith, Hugging Face Transformers, Scikit-learn, PyTorch, and TensorFlow.
- Experience with fine-tuning, distillation, evaluation, ML model development, validation, deployment, and tuning.
- Experience with Python, SQL, Pandas, SciPy, Scikit-learn, and anomaly detection implementation.
- Experience with Snowflake Data Cloud and Snowflake Cortex AI.
- Experience using managed AI/ML services such as Azure Machine Learning Studio and AI Foundry.
- Understanding of vector databases such as Weaviate and Neo4j.
- Understanding of GenAI evaluation metrics including BLEU, ROUGE, perplexity, semantic similarity, and human evaluation.
- Production experience deploying and scaling GenAI solutions on Azure or AWS.
- Ability to write production-ready Python code and build APIs with FastAPI using an ORM.
- Experience delivering at least one production GenAI or Agentic AI solution.
- Familiarity with Model Context Protocol and contributions to open-source GenAI projects.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
