Responsibilities
- Translate client business use cases and technical requirements into effective technical designs.
- Map requirements to implementation decisions and communicate designs to developers.
- Evaluate alternative solutions and select architectures that best meet client requirements.
- Define guidelines and benchmarks for non-functional requirements during implementation.
- Write and review architecture, framework, and high-level application design documents.
- Review architecture and designs for extensibility, scalability, security, design patterns, user experience, and non-functional requirements.
- Develop end-to-end solutions and define the technologies, patterns, and frameworks required to implement them.
- Apply technology integration knowledge across projects.
- Investigate code and review issues through systematic root-cause analysis and justify technical decisions.
- Conduct proofs of concept to validate proposed designs and technologies.
Requirements
- 8+ years of total professional experience.
- Deep understanding of LLMs, including GPTs, Llama, Claude, Gemini, Qwen, Mistral, and BERT-family models, as well as Transformer architectures.
- Expert prompt engineering skills and proven experience implementing RAG patterns and architectures.
- High proficiency in Python and AI/ML libraries such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, LangGraph, LangSmith, Hugging Face Transformers, Scikit-learn, and PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Strong experience with model fine-tuning, distillation, and evaluation.
- Experience with managed AI/ML services such as Azure Machine Learning Studio and AI Foundry, and production GenAI deployments on Azure or AWS.
- Strong understanding of vector databases such as Weaviate and Neo4j.
- Understanding of GenAI evaluation metrics including BLEU, ROUGE, perplexity, semantic similarity, and human evaluation.
- Ability to architect, code, scale, and productionize enterprise GenAI and Agentic AI solutions.
- Ability to write high-quality, maintainable Python code with strong testing practices.
- Ability to build and expose FastAPI APIs and integrate databases through an ORM such as SQLAlchemy or Tortoise ORM.
- Experience successfully delivering at least one production GenAI or Agentic AI solution.
- Familiarity with Model Context Protocol and contributions to open-source GenAI projects.
- React or another JavaScript framework experience is preferred for user-facing interfaces and front-end integrations.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
