Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define and implement platform features.
  • Design and deliver essential backend components for robust and scalable distributed services.
  • Contribute to technical vision and roadmap planning with attention to performance, security, usability, and future scalability.
  • Improve the performance of key Java features and challenge existing approaches where appropriate.
  • Help continuously improve implementation, testing, and monitoring practices for high-quality features.
  • Take leadership in delivering roadmap items with the team.

Requirements

  • Expert knowledge of Java and Spring Boot as a primarily backend engineer.
  • Solid understanding of web technologies and the software development life cycle.
  • Commitment to building secure, well-tested, pragmatic, user-focused software.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Proactive, curious, collaborative, and eager to learn.
