Base Salary
$200k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Make design and architecture decisions with technology and operations teams when developing exchange solutions.
- Oversee and contribute to C++ application frameworks, messaging APIs, data structures, application reliability, and recovery mechanisms.
- Manage and participate in the software development lifecycle, including build, deployment, packaging, and dependency management.
- Develop systems for order entry, market data, post-trade processing, system monitoring, and reporting.
- Collaborate with Market Operations and Technology Operations teams to troubleshoot production issues.
Requirements
- Expert C++ development experience in a low-latency environment.
- Experience with electronic trading systems, including FIX Protocol, proprietary and SIP market data feeds, and post-trade handling.
- Linux experience.
- Java experience is a preferred qualification.
- KDB+ experience is a preferred qualification.
- Knowledge of Python, Shell, or other scripting languages is preferred.
