- Define API, messaging, and integration contracts across platform components and external systems.
- Architect secure, scalable connectivity between on-premises environments and cloud services for the CubeVerse platform.
- Establish expectations for latency, throughput, availability, fault isolation, and graceful degradation.
- Define data flows and architectural patterns supporting performance, reliability, and continuous optimization.
- Design coordination patterns across controllers and operational domains, including task allocation, dependency management, and conflict resolution.
- Own architecture decisions, reference designs, and technical review processes.
- Mentor engineers and establish engineering standards.

- Strong experience with modern programming languages and platforms for control systems, orchestration layers, middleware, or large-scale backend services.
- Proven experience designing orchestration or coordination layers and middleware across independent subsystems.
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems, concurrency, state machines, event-driven and messaging architectures, fault tolerance, and eventual consistency.
- Experience defining APIs and integration contracts between independently owned systems.
- Ability to evaluate performance, throughput, reliability, and failure modes in physical or operational environments.
