Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of enterprise Appian applications and workflow automation solutions.
- Analyze requirements and collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams.
- Develop Appian process models, records, reports, SAIL interfaces, rules, integrations, and sites.
- Implement integrations with external systems and databases while supporting security, performance, and reliability.
- Provide code reviews, mentoring, and guidance to development teams.
- Troubleshoot production issues, optimize application performance, and support platform stability.
- Support SIT, UAT, production releases, and post-deployment activities.
- Drive Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, estimation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to Appian best practices, coding standards, and governance guidelines.
Requirements
- Over 10 years of IT experience and 8.5 years of experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise Appian applications.
- Strong proficiency in Appian BPM, process models, SAIL interfaces, records, reports, integrations, Web APIs, smart services, and Appian Sites.
- Experience with application architecture, system integrations, data modeling, and enterprise workflow automation.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, and PL/SQL.
- Knowledge of Appian deployment strategies, CI/CD pipelines, GitLab, Jenkins, Bitbucket, and GitHub.
- Experience leading development teams, mentoring junior developers, managing stakeholders, and driving Agile project delivery.
- Experience with production support, performance tuning, defect management, application upgrades, and deployments.
- Optional Appian Senior Developer Certification, Appian Associate Developer Certification, or Agile Training Certification.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and client-delivery skills.
