Base Salary
$175k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead software engineering teams through feature development, technical troubleshooting, and product releases.
- Plan large engineering tasks and delegate work effectively.
- Review pull requests and maintain code quality and engineering standards.
- Deliver complex, production-ready features to QA and address technical roadblocks.
- Contribute actively to the codebase, fix bugs, and open improvement tickets.
- Monitor system health, oversee updates, and ensure applications remain current.
- Mentor junior engineers through pairing, feedback, and regular one-on-one meetings.
- Support hiring and training of technical personnel.
- Advocate for and enforce effective QA practices.
- Communicate technical decisions, project risks, and requirements issues to engineering, management, product, business, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, or a related field.
- At least 6 years of professional experience working with React and Node.js.
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience.
- At least 3 years of experience supporting teams or collaborating with subject matter experts.
- Strong technical expertise and understanding of industry trends.
- Ability to review code, provide constructive feedback, understand business problems, and support team success.
