Responsibilities
- Customize global repositories and platforms to meet China-specific needs.
- Develop localized features and façade APIs on top of global interfaces.
- Support frontend and API integrations for end-to-end delivery.
- Act as a technical liaison between China-based teams and global engineering partners.
- Troubleshoot and triage support cases for China-specific projects.
- Collaborate with platform engineers on the deployment and maintenance of China solutions.
- Ensure seamless integration between local features and global APIs.
- Mentor junior developers and share technical expertise.
- Contribute to an inclusive work environment and support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
Requirements
- Several years of hands-on software development experience in Java, Kotlin, or Scala.
- Full stack development experience with frontend knowledge, such as HTML, CSS, and WeChat MP development.
- Experience with Test-Driven Development and a focus on quality and reliability.
- Comfort with pair programming, trunk-based development, CI/CD, and agile practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional and international teams.
- Willingness to take ownership of production systems and learn from failure.
