Responsibilities
- Lead tasks and projects independently from conception through delivery.
- Provide technical influence over the engineering team by improving and guiding architecture.
- Design and develop simple, efficient, maintainable, and reusable components and applications.
- Translate business and product needs into creative, incremental, and efficient technical solutions.
- Document applications and architectural decisions.
- Ensure application observability in production and participate in incident resolution.
- Analyze and improve application scalability, stability, and security.
- Reduce development-process complexity and remove project blockers through collaboration.
- Stay current with web development trends, frameworks, and best practices and recommend process improvements.
Requirements
- Knowledge of system design and code design patterns.
- Strong knowledge of Python.
- Experience implementing scalable APIs.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture, system observability, and relational and non-relational databases.
- Experience building reusable and modular backend components that support maintainability and scalability.
- Knowledge of cloud-based architectures.
- Practical experience with LLMs.
- Knowledge of prompt structuring and quality-control methods for GenAI.
- Ability to work with agile methodologies and a startup mindset.
- Excellent communication and inclusive decision-making skills.
