Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end strategy and roadmap for challenging, high-impact technical initiatives
- Set engineering direction and make key architectural decisions
- Partner across functions to address complex engineering, product, and business challenges
- Connect business objectives, product strategy, and engineering execution to build impactful product experiences
- Identify opportunities to improve products and engineering systems and drive projects to completion
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience owning and delivering large engineering initiatives from ideation through execution
- Strong backend engineering fundamentals and experience building scalable, production-grade systems
- Proven track record of driving high-impact technical projects and delivering meaningful business outcomes in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- Experience working cross-functionally across technical and business teams
- Founder, technical co-founder, or early engineering leadership experience is nice to have
- Previous experience mentoring engineers is nice to have
- Experience at an AI-native startup is nice to have
