Responsibilities
- Develop frontend experiences for Verkada’s cloud-managed access control product.
- Drive less-than-fully-defined product ideas through completion.
- Build best-in-class products and polished user experiences rather than isolated features.
- Collaborate with firmware, backend, and frontend engineers on the Access Control product line.
- Take technical ownership of major systems and solve complex problems.
Requirements
- 7+ years of industry software engineering experience.
- Mastery of JavaScript, including scoping, closures, contexts, prototypes, and classes.
- Expertise using React.
- Strong architectural understanding of custom components, custom UI, and cross-browser support.
- Strong eye for design, product details, and polish.
- Understanding of HTTP and practical debugging techniques.
- Working knowledge of at least one server-side framework and one database system.
- Degree in Computer Science or a related Engineering field.
- Willingness and ability to work onsite five days per week.
