Responsibilities
- Work directly with enterprise customers to refactor applications, migrate legacy databases, and optimize performance using MongoDB.
- Prototype and build AI-powered features using LLMs and Generative AI frameworks.
- Help customers implement modern software architectures, intelligent automation, and AI-enhanced applications.
- Share implementation insights and customer needs to influence MongoDB’s AI and software development roadmap.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and customer teams to deliver scalable and resilient software solutions.
Requirements
- Have 8+ years of software engineering experience delivering impactful technical solutions for enterprise clients.
- Hold an engineering degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Network Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- Preferably have experience with Java, SQL, Python, and designing or implementing AI-powered applications.
- Have in-depth knowledge of AI/ML concepts, tools, and open-source development.
- Be familiar with database migration, application refactoring, and monolithic versus microservices architectures.
- Be familiar with test-driven development methodologies.
- Preferred qualifications include academic research experience in parsing, AI/ML, or programming languages.
