Responsibilities
- Build, manage, and maintain validator infrastructure and tooling for crypto markets.
- Operate on-chain infrastructure including validators, light clients, and RPC nodes.
- Improve monitoring and alerting systems to support rapid infrastructure problem resolution.
- Experiment with new blockchain technologies and track developments in the blockchain ecosystem.
- Improve infrastructure security through secure key management, server hardening, intrusion detection, and security best practices.
- Maintain high availability while working with a globally distributed team.
- Contribute to external partnerships, public forums, community awareness, and knowledge transfer.
Requirements
- Previous experience managing proof-of-stake blockchain infrastructure, preferably Solana or Ethereum.
- Deep understanding of software engineering principles, Linux, Kubernetes, monitoring and alerting, networking, and cloud and bare-metal infrastructure.
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, and Salt for orchestration or configuration management.
- Extensive experience designing, building, and maintaining complex systems.
- High proficiency with Bash scripting and experience with at least one other programming language.
- Passion for blockchain technology and willingness to learn cutting-edge technologies.
- Familiarity with on-chain trading, DeFi, and risk management is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work quickly in a flat, fast-paced team, manage competing priorities, and maintain reliable and predictable availability.
