Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain BMS and Industrial IoT applications using the Niagara Framework.
- Customize Niagara stations, drivers, services, and components using Niagara and Java component-based development.
- Integrate Niagara applications with building automation systems, third-party systems, and enterprise applications.
- Develop full-stack functionality using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical and deployment issues.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, product, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and secure automation solutions.
- Support quality engineering, testing, system performance, and adherence to engineering standards.
Requirements
- Require 3–5 years of relevant software development and system integration experience.
- Require at least 2 years of hands-on experience with the Niagara Framework.
- Strong understanding of Building Automation Systems and Building Management Systems.
- Experience with BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks, and KNX protocols.
- Strong programming experience with Niagara and Java component-based development.
- Experience with Niagara N4 platform customization and deployment.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST APIs, and system integration concepts.
- Understanding of IoT, smart building, industrial automation, and related system architectures.
- Preferred bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
- Preferred experience with building automation, energy management, smart infrastructure, cloud-based monitoring, analytics, or connected building solutions.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity principles for industrial and building automation systems and software development lifecycle practices.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
