Responsibilities
- Lead 24x7 NOC operations through mandatory rotational shifts while maintaining system availability and SLA adherence.
- Manage P1/P2 major incidents, including triage, war room coordination, incident resolution, and stakeholder communication.
- Implement observability across logs, metrics, and traces using Datadog and Azure Monitor.
- Manage Azure infrastructure and AKS clusters, including troubleshooting, scaling, and performance tuning.
- Build automation and self-healing workflows using Terraform, ARM templates, Helm, Power Automate, and scripting.
- Drive proactive monitoring, alert tuning, anomaly detection, and AIOps initiatives.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve reliability, deployment pipelines, and cloud-native architecture.
- Develop Power BI and ServiceNow dashboards and reports and support monthly business reviews and leadership reporting.
- Mentor team members and drive process standardization and operational excellence.
Requirements
- 7–12 years of experience in CloudOps, SRE, or NOC environments supporting 24x7 operations.
- Strong expertise in Azure infrastructure, including virtual machines, networking, and storage.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Strong experience with Datadog, Azure Monitor, monitoring, and observability tools.
- Proven experience with incident management, major incident handling, and monthly reporting.
- Experience with Terraform, ARM templates, Helm, and infrastructure as code.
- Scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
- Experience with ServiceNow Incident, Problem, and Change modules and dashboards.
- Understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native architecture.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred qualifications include Azure/AWS multi-cloud experience, AIOps or predictive monitoring exposure, and Azure, Datadog, or Kubernetes certifications.
