Base Salary
$121k - $219k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define requirements during the product lifecycle to influence new designs and standards.
- Provide support, leadership, and motivation for project teams.
- Create and maintain SLOs and KPIs in collaboration with Engineering, Product, and Support teams.
- Investigate and troubleshoot complex problems with support, operations, hardware, and engineering teams.
- Lead incident management, post-mortem reviews, service restoration, and repair during on-call rotations.
- Develop and implement automation and efficiency improvements for compute infrastructure and services.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Experience architecting hardware, software, and infrastructure at scale.
- Expert-level experience in a development or systems administration role working with large-scale distributed systems.
- Ability to align with strategic business initiatives and coordinate the work of other engineers.
- Strong communication, mentorship, and interpersonal skills.
- Informed opinions on technology and software design.
