Responsibilities
- Solve complex infrastructure and cloud-service problems and build automation to prevent recurring issues.
- Design, develop, and deploy software that improves service availability, scalability, and efficiency.
- Define technical architectures, standards, and methods for large-scale distributed systems.
- Perform capacity planning, demand forecasting, software performance analysis, and system tuning.
- Develop and operate reliability, monitoring, metrics, logging, tracing, compliance, backup, caching, and messaging capabilities.
Requirements
- A BS or MS in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification; the posting also cites a master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- At least 8 years of experience running large-scale customer-facing web services; the posting also references 6 years of experience in the offered job or a related software developer occupation.

- Experience with Python, Bash, Go, Java, OCI, AWS, GCP, Azure, Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, OCI Resource Manager, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, operators, Prometheus, Grafana, OCI Monitoring, ELK/EFK, OpenTelemetry, Jaeger/Zipkin, OCI Logging, SQL, NoSQL, Redis, Memcached, Kafka, and RabbitMQ.
