Base Salary
$102k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Solve complex infrastructure cloud-service problems and build automation to prevent recurrence.
- Design, write, and deploy software that improves product and service availability, scalability, and efficiency.
- Design architectures, standards, and methods for large-scale distributed systems.
- Facilitate capacity planning, demand forecasting, software performance analysis, and system tuning.
- Develop and operate infrastructure involving cloud platforms, infrastructure as code, containers, orchestration, monitoring, logging, databases, caching, and message queues.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- Six years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Developer-related occupation.
- Experience with Linux/Unix systems and internals; TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, load balancing, and routing.
- Proficiency with Python, Bash, Go, and Java.
- Experience with OCI, AWS, GCP, Azure, compute, networking, storage, and IAM.
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, OCI Resource Manager, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and operators.
- Knowledge of reliability engineering, Prometheus, Grafana, OCI Monitoring, ELK/EFK, OpenTelemetry, Jaeger/Zipkin, OCI Logging, SQL and NoSQL databases, Redis, Memcached, Kafka, and RabbitMQ.
- Awareness of SOC 2, ISO 27001, change management, audit trails, replication, backups and restoration, and PITR.
