
D365 Finance and Operations - Solution Architect

Responsibilities
- Architect and lead end-to-end Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations implementations across Discovery, Design, Build, Test, Deploy, and Operate phases.
- Map client requirements in Finance or Supply Chain Management and develop solution designs, functional fit-gap analyses, and implementation concepts.
- Conduct pre-sales activities including product and proof-of-concept demonstrations, RFP responses, solution concept development, and stakeholder engagement.
- Guide teams on ALM, environment, integration, data migration, and security strategies.
- Lead and expand teams of D365 Finance and Operations experts and manage functional or technical project personnel.
- Support CRPs, SITs, UATs, training sessions, and business-user implementation activities.
- Collaborate with project managers, program managers, project teams, and R&D teams to identify and implement best practices and new Microsoft D365 solutions.
- Report R&D project progress, document implementation results, and perform post-implementation reviews.
- Present information to clients, C-level management, public groups, and boards of directors, with readiness to travel for business purposes.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of relevant experience working with D365 Finance and Operations or predecessor products.
- Lead position in at least 4 full lifecycle implementations involving D365 modules.
- Experience managing functional or technical teams and delivering client-facing work for key clients.
- Master’s degree in finance or equivalent education.
- Deep knowledge of D365 Finance and Operations in Finance or Supply Chain Management, Microsoft Success by Design, and implementation methodologies.
- Strong presentation, communication, leadership, client development, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong understanding of the Microsoft ecosystem and Microsoft solution architect certifications.
- Communicative-level German or another European language is preferred.
- MBA, CA, CMA, CFA, and valid Microsoft certifications are advantageous.
- Strong functional understanding of FP&A processes and willingness to travel for business purposes.
