Responsibilities
- Build successful relationships with clients throughout the assigned territory in collaboration with Account Executives.
- Act as a big data analytics expert and trusted advisor on architecture, design, and implementation of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
- Support customer adoption through complex proofs of concept, solution architecture designs, use case discovery, and scoping.
- Author reference architectures, how-to guides, and demo applications.
- Lead workshops, seminars, and meet-ups and help build the Databricks community in the region.
- Develop technical and/or industry specialization while communicating technical and value propositions to customers.
Requirements
- Experience engaging customers in technical sales and guiding them toward clear outcomes.
- Ability to develop customer relationships and build internal partnerships with Account Executives and other teams.
- Prior coding experience in a core programming language such as Python, Java, or Scala, with willingness to learn Spark.
- Hands-on proficiency with big data analytics technologies and public cloud platforms.
- Experience delivering complex proofs of concept and solution architecture designs to audiences with different levels of technical depth.
